Our small sheep-fold shelters about twenty milking ewes of the Lacaune breed which has it's origins in France (l'Aveyron). They are milked morning and evening in Summer and then transferred to the stabling from November to March, when they run dry.

Their main feed is hay in Winter, with a complement of cereal and carrots.

In Summer they graze our land around the farm where the pasture is

rich and varied, favourising a tasty milk yield.
